Boys Varsity Baseball

Lyons 9, Clyde Savannah 1
Dustyn Wilkes threw 6.1 innings to pick up the win and went 2-for-4 for Lyons (4-0). Damien Scott and Nick Fera each went 2-for-3 and drove in a run for the Lions, which scored in every inning but the second.

Pal-Mac 12, Mynderse 7
Cody Eckerson finished 2-for-3 with three RBI and Chad Sullivan added two hits and two RBI for Pal-Mac.

East Rochester 13, Marion 0
Rich Hook struck out eight in six scoreless innings and also went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI to lead East Rochester (1-1). Chris Chilelli finished 2-for-3 with two RBI for the Bombers. Marion is 1-2.

Gananda 13, Williamson 11
Quinn Donnelly went 4-for-5 with four runs scored and Chris Falu-Montes doubled twice for the Blue Panthers. Mitch Steurrys was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and Austen Reid was 2-for-3 with three RBI for the Marauders (1-3).

Sodus 5, North Rose-Wolcott 2
Kyle Wren struck out four over seven innings for the win for the Spartans (2-1). Brad Geffert pitched six innings with 11 strikeouts for the Cougars (2-2).

Girls Varsity Softball

North Rose-Wolcott 1, Sodus 0
Kendra Stewart scored on a single by Lindsey Welkley and Stewart also earned his first varsity win with a three-hitter and four strikeouts for the Cougars (1-3). Brooke Ludden struck out 12 for the Spartans.

Lyons 16, Clyde Savannah 1
Mia Palone was 3-for-3 with an RBI and Mikayla Bastian was 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Lions (3-0).
Katie Veeder pitched a two-hitter with nine strikeouts for the win and also added two RBI for the Lions. Mary Beth Schram had an RBI double for the Golden Eagles (1-2).

Mynderse 2, Pal-Mac 0
Sydney Rogers had a run-scoring single and Megan Tuttle added a single and an RBI for the Blue Devils. Cydney Luke doubled and singled and Olivia Broersma tripled for Pal-Mac (0-3).

Marion 15, East Rochester 0
Sami Bailey went 2-for-3 including a triple for Marion. Kailani Ameele was 2-for-2 with a triple and a run scored. Carissa Hayden had a triple and two hits for the Bombers.

Gananda 10, Williamson 2
Kelly Kier had three hits, including a two-run double, and scored a run for the Blue Panthers (3-0). Tiffany Burks pitched a three-hitter with nine strikeouts for the win. Carly Bean finished with two hits, including a run-scoring double, for Williamson (3-1).
