Boys Varsity Baseball

Lyons 12, North Rose-Wolcott 3
Senior Derick Fera earned his 33rd career win to share a tie of first place all-time in Section V history the win allowing two hits over six innings with nine strikeouts for Lyons (9-2). Fera was also 1-for-2 with three RBI and freshman Nick Fera was 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Lions. Jake Welaley was 1-for-2 with one RBI for NR-W.

Pal-Mac 11, Marcus Whitman 0
Devin Robson went 3-for-4 with a triple, two runs and two RBI for Palmyra-Macedon.

Williamson 7, Clyde Savannah 5
Brandon DeRue was 2-for-3 with two RBI and Greg Stitt also went 2-for-3 for Williamson, which led 2-0 after midway through the third inning and never trailed. Mitch Steurrys allowed seven hits and four runs over five innings for the win. Alex Schrader had two hits, including a double, and Jason Doig went 2-for-2 for Clyde-Savannah (3-5).

Girls Varsity Softball

Sodus 10, East Rochester 2
Caylee Hanson was 2-for-3 with a triple and four RBI and Hannah Prutzman was 2-for-2 with four RBI for Sodus (4-4). Ciarra Hayden stole home and was 2-for-3 with a triple for East Rochester.

Pal-Mac 9, Marcus Whitman 4
Kelsi Nau threw a complete game with 12 strikeouts and went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run at the plate for Palmyra-Macedon (2-5). Her sister Dana Nau added a two-run home run and Alex Crist as 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Red Raiders. Kira Smith had an RBI for Marcus Whitman.

North Rose-Wolcott 9, Williamson 7
Kaitee Snell went 3-for-4 with an RBI and Makayla Webber was 2-for-2 with two runs scored for North Rose-Wolcott (4-5), which trailed 7-2 after four innings. Sarah Wood added two hits and an RBI for the Cougars. Daphne Croop was 4-for-4 and Jena Eaton had two hits, including a solo home run, for Williamson.

Boys Varsity Tennis

Honeoye 4, Pal-Mac 1
Tim Manciocchi picked up a 6-1, 6-0 first singles victory for Honeoye (4-1). Palmyra-Macedon is 4-2.

Wayne 5, Waterloo 0
Eric Wilson of Wayne (3-2) won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles to improve to 5-0 this season.

Williamson 4, Sodus 1
Mason Mascle defeated Conner Barnes 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 at third singles for Williamson (6-0). Sodus is 0-4.
