East High Tournament: Tyler Smola and John Henderson each had three hits for the Leopards (4-0), who jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the second inning. Jamie Magone struck seven in a complete game. Lyons 4-2.
Dunkirk 3, Newark 0
Junior Josh Blondell gave up three hits and struck out six for Newark (2-3). Brenden Otero went 1-for-2 with a double for the Reds.

Wayne 5, Rush Henrietta 2
Dustin Moulds allowed one hit over six innings with five strikeouts for the win. Mike D’Eletto had two hits, including a triple, and Zach Griffin added two hits for Wayne (2-0), which scored three runs in the sixth to seize control.
Monday, April 9th
Newark 6, Pal-Mac 5
Josh Blondell and Brenden Otero each went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Newark (2-1), which scored four runs in the top of the first at Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Nick Camacho threw a complete game with four strikeouts for the Reds. Kevin Valade went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Pal-Mac (2-2).
Webster Christian School 5, Sodus 1
Chris Kemp threw a one-hitter with 13 strikeouts and also hit a solo home run in the fifth inning to put Webster Christian (4-0) up 2-1.
Eric Mundt went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored for the Warriors. Hunter Beckens gave up one earned run and struck out 11 over six innings for Sodus (2-2).
