Boys Varsity Basketball
Pal-Mac 70, Midlakes 63
Cody Argus made seven 3-pointers on his way to 26 points and Derek Wager added 25 points for Pal-Mac (10-5). Tyler Fisher had 15 points and nine rebounds for Midlakes (5-10), which trailed by as many as 17 in the fourth quarter before closing the gap
Newark 46, Waterloo 43
Jacob Shear scored seven points and was four of four from the foul line down the stretch to seal the win for Newark (7-7). Josh Williams added 14 points and 10 rebounds and Daivd Stone chipped in nine points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Reds. Brandon Frank had 21 points and Tim Young scored 13 points and missed a deep 3-pointer as time expired for Waterloo (3-10)
North Rose-Wolcott 53, Williamson 40
Chris Dean scored 10 of his 15 points in the first half and Jake Welkley scored all 11 of his points first half for the Cougars (8-8). Stevie Thomson scored 19 points for the Marauders (4-10)
Lyons 59, North Rose-Wolcott 35
Ryenn Smith scored 12 points with six rebounds and four steals and Abbie Shields added 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 steals for the Lions (15-1). Kaitee Snell finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Cougars (5-12).
Marion 55, Sodus 25
Jessa Blondell finished with 25 points for Marion (9-6). Hannah Prutzman had five steals for Sodus.
