Newark, Lyons and Wayne all win in Second Week of Season

Newark 25, East Rochester/Gananda 13

Phil Tack went 10 of 20 for 194 yards and two touchdowns and added 13 carries for 84 yards and a TD for Newark (1-1). Josh Williams had four catches for 134 yards and a score and Jacob Shear had eight rushes for 80 yards and a TD for the Reds. Ian Palmer had 10 catches for 96 yards for East Rochester (0-2).

Lyons 32, Mynderse 13

Alex Musolino rushed for 90 yards and two TDs on 12 carries and Mareese Wells added a 58-yard touchdown run (2-0). Justin Pitcher had 70 yards rushing and one TD on 17 carries and Aaron Peterman added 58 yards rushing and a touchdown on nine carries for the Blue Devils (0-2).

Wayne 40, Waterloo 0

Cory McNamara had 75 yards receiving on three catches and in the first he scored 14 points in the first 27 seconds of the game, an 80-yard kickoff return, two extra points, and a 55-yard touchdown catch. McNamara also had an interception for the Eagles (2-0).
Zach Kosachook had 155 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 12 carries for Wayne. Patrick Murray recovered two fumbles and made eight tackles for the Wayne defense. Waterloo is 1-1.

Midlakes 22, Pal-Mac 8

Keagan Turner had two touchdown runs and Brandon Suave added 70 yards rushing on 15 carries for the Screaming Eagles.
