Former Newark Swimmer/Diver earns honors

Michael Roeland of Newark, NY, recently helped lead SUNY Delhi’s men’s swimming and diving 400 Medley Relay team at the Cazenovia Swimming and Diving Invitational held on November 10, 2012.

Delhi’s Men’s 400 Medley Relay of (Kenny Calamari, Mathew Salle, Mike Roeland, and Jacob Moore) broke a Delhi Team Record, with a new time of 4:11.09, which dropped over five seconds from the previous record, in which they were second. The former record was held by (Will Quinn, Chad Snyder, Kevin Selby, and F. Calver-Rocktenwall) set back on March 7, 2008 with a time of 4:16.26.

Roeland (Middlelakes HS 2011) is a SUNY Delhi student pursuing an associate’s degree in architectural technology.
