Hey, What are Neighbors For?

State Trooper Derek Merritt received a report of a burglary on Friday at an apartment at 1492 Welcher Road in the Town of Arcadia .

Christopher Goodman had been arrested on a warrant out of Florida in November. Upon his return he noticed several items missing, including plants, a bench, bottles of cologne, a lamp and a table top waterfall.

Goodman decided to move to another apartment in the building and when he went upstairs to tell his neighbor, he couldn't believe what he saw, his stuff adorning his neighbor's apartment. Saying nothing, Goodman went downstairs and called the State Police.

Upon questioning, the neighbor, Chad A. Turner, age 21, admitted to helping himself to his missing neighbor's belongings. Turner was charged with Burglary in the 2nd Degree, arraigned and released to reappear in Arcadia Town Court on February 27th.
