The Wayne County Sheriffs Office reported the arrest on Wednesday (3/7) of Patrick M. Wahl, age 36, 8008 Ridge Road lot #14 in the Town of Sodus following investigation into allegations of sexual abuse. He was charged with two counts of Rape in the first degree.

According to sources, the sexual contact began when the girls were between the ages of nine and twelve years old. Today, the sisters are 16 and 12 years old. The case was reported in February by the girls’ step-father. With the current charges it is alleged that Wahl had forced sexual intercourse withthe two girls between the months of September and November of 2011.

Wahl, a convicted Level I Sex offender, was arrested by State Police Investigator Andrew Jasie back in June of 2004. At the time, Wahl was a Sunday School teacher and community volunteer. A 13 year-old girl, a student in his Sunday School class, reported that Wahl has sent explicit e-mails to her, including letters and pictures of his penis. The girl left her e-mail account open and a parent discovered the e-mails sent from Wahl.

Wahl was convicted of Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor in the 2nd Degree, a Class E-Felony; Sexual Abuse in the 2nd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both misdemeanor charges. He was sentenced to six months shock incarceration and five years probation.

Wahl was arraigned in the town of Sodus Justice Court before Justice Tom Putnam, and was remanded to the Wayne County jail on No Bail. He denies the charges and the case is expected to be presented to a Wayne County Grand Jury.

Wahl is currently divorced and has five children from his previous marriage.
