Newark Village Police reported the arrest on Saturday (2/23) of Anthony Kirkland, age 44, of 2 Layton Street in Lyons.
It is alleged that back on January 7th Kirkland stole a woman’s purse out of a shopping cart at Wegman’s. It is also alleged that he attempted to use the woman’s stolen ATM card on three occasions unsuccessfully. Citizen Bank photos led police to an identification of Kirkland, who has similar arrests in the past.
