The Wayne County Office of the Sheriff reported the arrest of Daniel D. Ott, age 19, of 50 Flagstaff Drive in Rochester after a traffic stop by deputies in the Town of Ontario.
When deputies attempted to stop the vehicle Ott was operating he was observed climbing out of the drivers’ seat and into the backseat of the vehicle, while the vehicle was still in motion.
Ott was subsequently arrested for Failure to Stop for a Stop Sign, Operating a Vehicle Without Having at Least One Hand on a Steering Mechanism, Operating a Vehicle Without Wearing a Seatbelt, Following Too Closely, DWI/BAC.
