Deputy Mayor Alvaro welcomed everyone in attendance.
Deputy Mayor Alvaro, read a letter from Mayor Kleisle appointing Sean Dobbins to the vacant office of Village Trustee, in accordance to Village Law 3-312 Filling of Vacancies. Said term of office is for the balance of the Village official year which will end the first Monday in December 2013.
Clerk-Treasurer, Denise Darcangelis, swore in Sean Dobbins as Village Trustee.
Deputy Mayor Alvaro read a letter from Mayor Kleisle appointing people to the Dissolution Committee. The appointments to this committee must be done by Mayor Kleisle 30 days of the Board of Elections certification of ballot results, which was December 3, 2012. She hereby appoints the following persons to serve on the Committee who will be charged with the preparation and approval of a dissolution plan to be submitted to the Village within 180 days: Richard J. Bogan, Sergei Bartishevich, James Brady, John Cinelli, Brian Manktelow/Daniel LaGasse (one slot), Corrine Kleisle
There are three vacancies open that Mayor Kleisle will fill the second week of January.
The Board authorized seeking bids for the Request for Qualifications for the Dissolution Consultant to be received by January 30, 2013.
A price was requested from MRB for the change in the Parks and Recreation Grant for the site along Abby Park to under the Leach Road Bridge to extend and start along the Canal bank to connect to the Wayne County Trail.
The Village of Lyons has received a template for implementing an ADA Transition Plan and subsequently ensuring compliance with the regulations set forth by the ADA from New York State Department of Transportation. This will be worked on and completed within the next few weeks.
A discussion took place regarding the street lights that are out on the corner of William and Church Street. The lights have been reported to NYSEG. This is not a priority with NYSEG. A lot of their crews are in New Jersey since the destruction of Hurricane Sandy.
