Feb. 25 - Toastmasters Present Speechcraft in Newark: The Articulators of Toastmasters Inter-national presents Speechcraft on Mondays beginning Feb. 25, 2008 at Newark High School, LGI Rm. 116, 625 Peirson Avenue, in Newark. Does the thought of speaking in front of people make your knees knock? Is your fear preventing your from succeeding? Toastmasters can help! Register now for this eight week Speechcraft workshop that is designed to help adult participants quickly hone the communication skills necessary for their personal and professional lives. Feb. 26 - Spay Day USA: The 14th annual Spay Day USA will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2008. Do you know someone on a fixed income who needs their dog or cat spayed or neutered? The Humane Society of Wayne County is participating in Spay Day USA again this year. There will be one lucky winner for a free spay or neuter for their companion animal.
