Play Golf with Wolcott Rotary and try to win a New Chevy

June 2nd, Wolcott Rotary will hold its 4th annual Golf Tournament at the Port Bay Golf Course. Joe and Dawn Hess, owners of the golf course, have promised me a nice day for our tournament with a beautifully groomed course.

The day will start at 8:00 a.m. with a four man best ball format. To add a little excitement there will be a closest to the hole prize and a longest drive. To make things interesting our local Chevrolet Buick Dealer, Cavallaro Neubauer is offering a new Chevrolet car for a hole in one. Each player will also receive a gift card from Callaway Golf Equipment. First prize will be $200. Second prize is $100. Last place is $100.

Wolcott Rotary donates money and time to a number of different projects throughout the world but the funds from this tournament will go toward our handicapped children’s camp held at the Boy Scout Camp on Seneca Lake. Rotary takes over 100 handicapped kids from Wayne, Ontario, Seneca and Yates Counties for a two week camping experience. We also donate for Graduation Awards at NRW Central School for students excelling in business and who have outstanding citizenship.

There are still hole sponsors and cart sponsors available and room for more teams to compete. Come on out for a good time
