The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Tessa J....
I had the following jokes ready to go before the Sabres exciting 5-4 shootout win at home against the Canadiens on Thursday night. It was a nice win and a fun game to watch, but it was only 2 seconds away from being another disappointment. Vanek is the Sabres saving grace. Beyond him the only thing that is looking good for the Sabres is a shortened season to end their misery. Anyhow, here are my favorite Sabres jokes…
Q: What do the Buffalo Sabres and the Titanic have in common?
A: They both look good until they hit the ice!
Q: What’s the difference between Frequent Flyer Miles and the Buffalo Sabres?
A: Frequent Flyer Miles earn points.
Q: What do a fine wine and the Buffalo Sabres have in common?
A: They both spend a lot of time in the cellar, cost too much and are only enjoyed on select occasions.
Q: How many Buffalo Sabres does it take to change a tire?
A: One, unless it’s a blowout, in which case they all show up .
My Super Bowl Rant….
Ok, so my prediction for the Super Bowl didn’t quite pan out. I really thought the Niners would pull it out (and they almost did…and probably should have). If it wasn’t for some terrible play calling in the closing minutes, the 49ers would have been Super Bowl champions. Also, San Fran CB, Chris Culliver was terrible. Boldin made him look silly throughout the night. I’ll be surprised if he plays another game for the Niners. The anti-gay remarks he made before the Super Bowl probably didn’t win him many fans either.
I really didn’t care too much who won the Super Bowl, I’m just not a big Ray Lewis fan. I actually find him quite annoying. A guy who brings up God every other sentence, yet has like 18 children with 5 different wives, is still trying to clear his name from old murder charges and who portrays himself as a team player, yet finds every opportunity to talk about himself and showboat constantly……sorry I just can’t jump on that bandwagon.
I’ve always been one of those skeptics who doesn’t believe God really cares who wins sporting events….however, a recent poll said that 27% believe that God plays a role in who wins. It varied by region with a whopping 36% in the south. Maybe that explains why all the college football champs come from the South? God only know.
