Friday Mugshot
State Police Investigators in Wolcott reported the arrest on Monday (5/20)...
I knew Lance Armstrong was Guilty.
A while back when Lance Armstrong was originally accused of doping and had claimed he was innocent, many supporters backed him and nearly everyone believed him. I wanted to believe him, but wrote at the time that I thought that he was 100% guilty and it would all come out eventually and his legacy would be forever tarnished. It took a few years, but it’s all coming out now.
The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency went after Lance Armstrong earlier this week when they released a thousand pages of documents and testimony from 11 former teammates. The agency says “The evidence shows beyond any doubt that the US Postal Service Pro Cycling Team ran the most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program that sport has ever seen.” It’s looking like Armstrong was at the center of it all. Armstrong had no comment…Shocking. It’s just another black eye for cycling and for sports in general.
I can’t stand Yankees Fans.
As a Red Sox fan I really can’t escape the daily ribbing/comments from my Yankee loving friends. Yes, I know the Red Sox aren’t playing anymore. Yes, I saw the game last night. Congratulations, on needing 12 innings to pull out a win against the Orioles. I really hope Baltimore ties the series back up tonight and wins game 5. I stopped watching/caring about baseball about 2-3 months ago when I realized the Red Sox had hung it up for the season.
Speaking of….Things aren’t going so hot for A-Rod. Alex Rodriguez is now batting .083 for the series. What’s even better is that the highest paid player in baseball was benched in favor of Raul Ibanez who not only tied the game in the 9th inning with a homer but went on to win the game in the 12th inning with another blast.
How bad are things? Donald Trump tweeted this the other day: “A-Rod must be dropped in the Yankees line-up tonight if they want to win. He simply can’t perform without drugs.” For once Donald Trump is actually making sense.
I never want to hear the name Jerry Sandusky again.
Earlier this week Jerry Sandusky was sentenced 30-60 years for sexually abusing young boys. Thankfully, the 68-year old Sandusky will likely spend the rest of his days behind bars. Sandusky got up in court and made a rambling 15-minute statement. He said he never did “these alleged disgusting acts,” and he described himself as a victim. What a dirtbag! He deserves a far greater punishment than life behind bars in a low security prison, but at least he’ll never be able to hurt anyone else and I can stop hearing his name.
I love being a dad.
There is nothing better than being a dad. Our beautiful baby daughter just turned 6 months old this week. I cannot believe it has gone so fast! She changes every day and it seems like every night brings a new milestone. She’s sitting up on her own, starting to babble more and has started solid food. We just had her pictures taken professionally and you know this proud dad will share those with you soon.
Also, sectionals will start soon for fall sports. Check out our newly designed website for scores, pictures, recaps and more! Want to report a score? You can send us your scores, pictures and updates at sportstwc@aol.com or you can text us at (585) 943-2777. Have a great week!
